Phoenix Mountains
This mountain range is located in central Arizona and it is a protected preserve. The mountains have the best trails for hiking, walking, riding and trekking and many Arizonans will be found there in their free time. The Dreamy Draw recreational site is also located in the mountains. This name came from an infection that caught the miners who used to mine mercury sulfide.
Shaw Butte, Moon Mountains, Lookout Mountains, Shadow Mountain, Echo Mountain and many others are part of this great preserve. As well as giving the tourist the best opportunity to get one with Mother Nature, these mountains are great for photo shooting. Many trails on the mountains have been given fancy names and you can learn how the names were derived as you visit the mountains
